What is the Coptic Scholarship?

The world's first international scholarship broadly available to exceptional young Copts across the globe.
There are fifty-five Scholarships available each year worldwide.
The Coptic Scholarship is an international fellowship award for students pursuing higher education. Established in 2017, it is the first and only scholarship in the world broadly available to Copts seeking graduate and undergraduate degrees at institutions of higher learning in their respective countries.
Administered by the National Coptic Charity Inc, it is intended to promote unity among Copts worldwide and instill a sense of civic-minded leadership and moral fortitude in future leaders, irrespective of their chosen career paths.
Selection Criteria

Coptic Scholars are to be distinguished Leaders, accomplished Intellectuals, and adamant Believers. Leadership, Scholarship, and Faith are the guiding principles of each Coptic Scholar. Accordingly, the qualities below are what the Selection Committee will be looking for in each candidate.

The Coptic Scholarships are place-based. Hence, the eligibility criteria, application requirements, and selection process vary slightly depending on which constituency you are applying for.
