Common Questions
You Ask. We Answer.
What kind of services does the N.C.C. provide?
Aid.
The N.C.C. will provide resources for Coptic Orthodox Christians, both domestically and abroad. A portion of funds will be directed to building infrastructure in under-developed regions so that Copts have a communal place to call home.

Develop.
Because a goal of the N.C.C. is to strengthen the Coptic presence, it recognizes the need to enhance already-existing Coptic communities. Thus, the N.C.C. seeks to support the advancement of Coptic establishments.

Educate.
A primary goal of the N.C.C. is to identify leaders within the Coptic community and promote their personal and educational development. To do so, the N.C.C. will award grants to these youth in support of their educational endeavors and service-related activities.
Does my donation help the Coptic Orthodox Church in America or Egypt?
Both. The N.C.C. functions as a centralized organization that supports the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt and the Coptic diaspora. Funds will be allocated according to need.
Does the N.C.C. provide educational grants?
While operating as a non-profit organization, the N.C.C. primarily seeks to augment the Coptic Orthodox community. As the future of the church is in the hands of our youth, the N.C.C. will fund the development of these youth leaders as they seek to enter institutions of higher learning to gain the necessary means to give back to their Coptic communities. More information on N.C.C. educational grants and scholarships will be made available once a call for applications has been sent out.
Do members of the N.C.C. get paid?
No, no member of the N.C.C. gets paid. The National Coptic Charity is an all-volunteer organization, so the entirety of your donation goes to the cause and its operational costs. N.C.C. members even volunteer to fund their own travel for N.C.C. purposes to maximize the value of each donation.
